民国《世界画报》中的日本形象建构

摘　　要：《世界画报》是民国时期北方报纸摄影画刊中出版时间最长,期数最多的一个刊物。从正式的统计资料来看,截至1932年10月3日,《世界画报》已为华北地区销量第一的画报。画报中丰富的图像资源为研究20世纪二三十年代的民国社会风貌特征提供了充足的图像证据,其中共刊载500余幅涉日图像,包括日本政治、文化及军事等多方面题材。它引导读者从理性的角度去审视日本并关注中日关系。在不同阶段对日图像的叙事语境也随中日关系的变化而发生转变。以图像传播的视觉特点为出发点,通过图文结合的视角再现这十余载《世界画报》中所建构的日本形象,可以有效探讨图像传播对日本形象报道的意义,还可以考察和分析《世界画报》的编辑视野及读者由此可能获知的对日认识。Among all northern newspapers and pictorials published during the Republic of China,World Pictorial has the longest published time and the largest circulation.According to official statistics,as of October 3,1932,the sales of World Pictorial is the first among all the pictorials.The rich image resources in the pictorials provided sufficient image evidence for the study of the social features of the Republic of China in the 1920s and 1930s.Through editors5 careful selection and deliberate reorganization of the images,about 500 images were published.These images,focusing on Japanese political,cultural and military issues,guide readers to examine the image of Japan and focus on Sino-Japanese relations from a rational perspective.The narrative context of Japan5 s images at different stages also changes as Sino-Japanese relations change.Taking the visual characteristics of image transmission as the starting point,with the help of both illustration and text,the image construction of Japan in World Pictorial for more than ten years can effectively illustrate the significance of image transmission for the report of Japan's image.It is also available to analyze World PictoriaP^editorial perspective and the knowledge of Japan which readers can acquire from it.
