摘　　要：在大比例尺电子地图设计中,点状符号比线状符号和面状符号更加注重符号表达的可识别性和信息传递的有效性。同时地图产品属技术与艺术相结合的产物,因此从艺术化的角度系统性地提炼了电子地图点状符号设计需遵循的基本原则和设计思路,并在青岛市电子地图编制工作中采用Adobe Illustrator CS5、FontCreator 9.1、ArcGIS 10.3等软件进行设计实现。In large-scale electronic map design, dot symbol pays more attention to the recognition of symbol expression and the validity of information transmission than line symbol and plane symbol. In view of the fact that map products belong to the combination of technology and art, therefore, from the artistic point of view, we systematically refined the basic principles and design ideas that should be followed in the design of dot symbol on electronic map. In the compilation of electronic map in Qingdao, we used Adobe Illustrator CS5, Font Creator 9.1 and ArcGIS 10.3 to implement them.
