摘　　要：在新加坡的中医药业中,客家人很早就占据了重要的位置,一直到今天都是如此。刘少杰的父亲是出生在中国广东大埔的客家人,年轻的时候到新加坡谋生,在同乡中药店做学徒,多年后也开始经营自己的中药店。刘少杰从小耳濡目染,在中医药行业中更进一步,不仅子承父业,还成为一名中医师。作为一位中医师和中药店的经营者,刘少杰见证并参与了新加坡中医药业的发展历程,他个人的生活史也从一个侧面反映出新加坡中医药业的历史变迁。Hakkas have occupied an important position in the traditional Chinese medicine industry of Singapore,and it has been so far today.LIEW Show Kiat's father was a Hakka who was born in Dapu,Guangdong,China.When he was young,he went to Singapore to make a living.He became an apprentice in a traditional Chinese medicine shop of Hakka and started to run his own traditional Chinese medicine shop many years later.LIEW Show Kiat grew up in the traditional Chinese medicine industry and became a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.As a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and a traditional Chinese medicine shop operator,LIEW Show Kiat witnessed and participated in the development of Singapore's traditional Chinese medicine industry.His personal life history also reflects the historical changes of Singapore's traditional Chinese medicine industry.
