High Expansibility Boost Converter for Offshore Wind Power Farms

摘  要:由于现有直流升压变换器在应用于海上风电等的大功率场合存在拓展性较差、控制策略复杂等问题,本文提出了一种基于增益单元的高拓展性升压变换器。通过基于现有直流变换器特性和电容的安秒平衡原理,对现有直流升压变换器的输入相数和增益单元数进行拓展来增强其拓展性,同时采用开关管端的同步控制方式来减少控制系统设计的复杂度。经过理论分析,所提变换器具有较高的拓展性,同时能简化控制策略的设计,满足大功率直流变换场合需求。最后,基于PSIM建立了一个2.5 MW的仿真模型和一台功率为1.2 kW的实验样机验证了理论分析的正确性。Considering that the problems such as poor expansibility and complex control strategy will occur when the existing DC boost converter is applied to high-power scenarios(e.g.,offshore wind power farms),a high expansibility boost converter based on multiple cells is proposed in this paper. This converter enhances its expansibility by expanding the numbers of input-phases and cells in the existing DC boost converter based on the characteristics of the existing DC converter and the ampere-second balance principle for the capacitor,and reduces the complexity in the control system design by synchronous control of switches. Through theoretical analysis,it is shown that the proposed converter has higher expansibility and can simplify the design of control strategy,thus meeting the needs under scenarios with a highpower DC converter. Finally,a 2.5 MW simulation model based on PSIM and a 1.2 kW experimental prototype were built,and results verified the theoretical analysis.
