摘  要:董仲舒对历史的看法,认为“四法如四时,然终而复始,穷则返本”“有三而复者,有四而复者,有五而复者,有九而复者”,于是提出了“三统”“三正”“四法”“质文”的历史观。至于论及政治,汉代政治始终兼用儒、法;董仲舒以经义断狱,作“春秋决事比”,以为儒术应用于刑法之例;董仲舒主张,以仁德为政,阳德阴刑的政治思想,接受儒家之传统观念,以政治生活为道德生活的延长,以理想人格作为理想政治的条件,以仁政爱民遵行礼乐教化为功。Dong Zhongshu put forward the historical views of“santong”,“sanzheng”,“four rules”and“zhi and wen(form and content)”based on the ideas that“The four rules repeat in circles like the seasons;one repeats in circles among the three(sanzheng),another among the four(shang,xia,zhi,wen),the third among the five(five emperors),and the fourth among the nine(emperors).”As for political philosophy,Dong Zhongshu held that Confucianism and legalism should be both applied in the politics of the Han Dynasty.He advocated deciding cases based on the ideas of the classics and wrote a case work with the title of A Case Decision Based on the Ideas of Spring and Autumn Annals,holding that Confucianism could be applied in penal law.He also advocated the political thought of the governance with benevolence and virtue as well as virtue as yang and punishment as yin,accepted the traditional Confucian ideas,and took political life as the extension of moral life,the ideal personality as the condition of the ideal politics,and governing with benevolence,loving the people and educating etiquette and music as merits.
