摘　　要：高等教育在本质上是一种进行文化传承和创新的教育,高等工程教育与工程文化之间有着天然的内在联系,必须加强工程文化教育,充分发挥优秀工程文化的育人功能。文章结合学习贯彻习近平总书记关于文化育人的重要讲话精神,论述了加强新工科人才工程文化教育的重要性和必要性,进而从工程精神文化、知识文化、制度文化、行为文化和物质文化这五个维度,尝试探讨了工程文化教育的基本内容。Higher education is essentially an education for cultural heritage and innovation. There is a natural internal relationship between higher engineering education and engineering culture, it is necessary to strengthen engineering culture education and give full play to the educational function of excellent engineering culture. Based on the study and implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches on culture education, this paper expounds the importance and necessity of strengthening engineering culture education for new engineering talents, and then discusses the basic contents of engineering culture education from the five dimensions of engineering spiritual culture, knowledge culture, system culture, behavior culture and material culture.
