摘　　要：国际博物馆协会(ICOM)京都大会见证了博物馆定义的发布、阐释、讨论及搁浅的全过程。博物馆新定义为何难产?新定义有何创新和缺陷?也许可以从最近国际博物馆协会博物馆学委员会(ICOFOM)出版的《博物馆学的历史:博物馆学理论核心作者》(A History of Museology:Key authors of museological theory)出发,从博物馆学者的视角回溯"新博物馆学"与"科学博物馆学",追溯ICOFOM在博物馆学理论探索上的历程,而这一历程演变在很大程度上也影响着各时期博物馆定义的修订。从"人"的角度来审视当代博物馆学的发展路径,一窥各博物馆学思潮的分野、对话、融合与创新。The ICOM(International Council of Museums)Kyoto 2019 Conference witnessed the whole process from the release,interpretation,and debating of the proposed alternative definition to the postpone ment of the vote on the new definition.Why did the proposed new definition fail to be accepted?What are the advantages and disadvantages of the new definition?Based on A History of Museology:Key Authors of Museological Theory,a recent publication by ICOFOM(The International Committee for Museology of ICOM),this paper re-examines New Museology and Scientific Museology from the perspective of museolo gists and surveys the exploration on museological theory that ICOFOM has been making,which has largely shaped the definition of the museum during different time periods.The paper inspects the development path of contemporary museology from the perspective of“human”,and probes into the division,dialogue,integra tion and innovation of various museology thoughts.
