摘　　要：土家语有"黑""白""红""黄""绿"五个基本颜色词,本文对它们进行细致描写并尝试探讨其来源。"黑"与"夜"紧密相关,其词根语素来源于藏缅语*na。lan24ka55tie22"黑"中的lan24可能是汉语借词"蓝"。"白"■可能是自源词,由■"牙齿"引申而来。"红""黄"等均保留了与藏缅语相对应的语音形式。The Tujia language has five basic color words,"BLACK","WHITE","RED","YELLOW",and"GREEN".This paper provides a detailed description of these color words and attempts to explore their possible origins.It is found that semantically the words for"BLACK"and"NIGHT"are closely related,and that their root morphemes may descend from the Tibeto-Burman*na;the morpheme lan24in the word lan24ka55tie22"black"is very likely an early Chinese loanword for lan24蓝,meaning"blue";and the word ■,meaning"white",may be a self-innovation,deriving from ■"teeth".The Tujia words for"RED"and"YELLOW"seem to show correspondences with their counterparts in other Tibeto--Burman languages.
