摘　　要：穷尽式考察敦煌《文选音》残卷音注中切上下字与被注字重复的反切,发现这种反切是专门用于标记多音字异读的特殊类型,其特点是:切上字重,则以切下字凸显异读的声调差异;切下字重,则以切上字凸显异读的清浊变换。所注异读多与汉语音变构词相关,注音方式是以常读注异读,常读音义不出注。随着中古时期反切结构的改变,重字反切逐渐式微,文献中留存较少,后人遂以为讹误。This paper makes a thorough study of a special fanqie(a method of phonetic notation for a given Chinese character that uses two other characters,the first with the same initial consonant and the other with the same final vowel as the character in question)found in the fragmental volume of Wenxuanyin in P.2833,and finds that this kind of fanqie is a special kind of polyphonic notation used specifically to apply regular pronunciations in the annotation of irregular pronunciations while regular pronunciations remain without annotation.The tone difference of the second fanqie character is highlighted when the first character is the same with the character whose pronunciation is being determined,while the change in“voice”(voiced or voiceless)of the first character is highlighted when the second character is the same with the given one.The need for annotated pronunciation is primarily related to the function of phonetic formation in the construction of Chinese characters.Following the structural phonetic changes of fanqie in the Middle Ages,the fanqie for polyphonic pronunciations of a single character gradually declined and was recorded less in historical documents.As a result,this method of determining character pronunciation was considered to be an error in later times.
