摘  要:新中国成立以来,我国高等教育在经历了起步波折期、恢复建设期、质量提升期、综合实力初现期后逐步迈入了综合实力强化时期,取得了巨大成就。整个发展历程显现出了我国高等教育从数量扩张到质量提升、从逐步恢复到蓬勃发展、从结构单一到多元促进、从经验输入到互学互鉴、从集中管理到分级服务的诸多特点,也暴露出了区域发展不平衡、人才培养与社会需求脱节、学科建设潜在生态危机、国际交流竞争力不足等问题,未来应从耦合国家与高校个体目标、促进高等教育均衡发展和人的全面发展、加强国际交流中的引领作用等方面进行优化改进,以期对我国高等教育长足发展有所助益。Since the founding of People’s Republic of China, China’s higher education has gradually entered the period of comprehensive strength strengthening after going through the initial setbacks, the period of restoration and construction, the period of quality improvement, and the period of comprehensive strength. The entire development process shows many characteristics of China’s higher education from quantitative expansion to quality improvement, from gradual recovery to vigorous development, from single structure to diversification, from experience input to mutual learning, and from centralized management to hierarchical services in a dynamic perspective. It also exposes many problems such as the imbalance development between regions,the disparity in talent training and social needs, the potential ecological crisis in discipline construction, the lack of competitiveness in international exchanges and so on. In the future, we will optimize and improve in terms of coupling the individual goals of national universities, promoting the balanced development of higher education and the comprehensive development of people, and strengthening the leading role in international exchanges so as to help China’s higher education development.
