90.83%。Sodium alginate gel particles, magnetic particles and magnetic gel particles were used to conduct a rice pot experiment to study the effect of cadmium accumulation in rice. Results showed that sodium alginate gel or magnetic particles applied alone could reduce the content of cadmium in different parts of rice. The order of effect of the three materials on rice was:sodium alginate gel<magnetic particles<magnetic gel particles.Magnetic gel particles could effectively promote the growth of rice plant height, stem, leaf, root and grain, and significantly reduce the content of cadmium in grain, chaff, stem, leaf and root(the reduction rates were 54.01%,34.78%,44.38%and 22.68%,respectively).All treatments could effectively reduce the content of available cadmium in soil, with reduction rates ranging from 22.28%to 25.93%.Compared with sodium alginate gel particles and magnetic particles, magnetic gel particles could be recovered from the soil by external magnetic field with the highest recovery rate of 90.83%.
