摘　　要：罗伯特·瓦尔泽的小说《唐纳兄妹》的主人公西蒙不谋求自身职业发展,沉溺于在大自然中散步。通过观察、感知和思考,西蒙认识到现代社会的工作对人身体的限制和束缚以及由此而对人精神的控制,因此他一方面通过散步来解放身体和精神,另一方面通过不断换工作来抵抗这种控制,在他身上体现的是"我行走故我在"。身体取代精神成为确定人之主体性的关键。The hero Simon in Robert Walsers’ novel Brothers and Sisters of Tanner does not seek his own career development;he prefers to walk in the nature. Through his observation,perception and reflection,Simon realizes that jobs in the modern society constrain not only the body,but also the spirit of people. So he walks a lot and changes jobs in order to free his body and spirit from the control.Simon’s behavior embodies his attitude"I walk so I am". Instead of spirit,body becomes the key to subjectivity of a person.
