摘 要:范畴是反映事物最普遍、最根本特质的概念。文论范畴是文论思想的凝结,也是中西文论交流的关键,文论范畴的译介因此成为文论译介的核心议题。20世纪70年代以来,中国文论范畴的北美译介先后经历过释义法、威妥玛式拼音法和汉语拼音法的更迭,实现"译同""译通"向"译异"的策略转变,表明中国文论作为一种独特的理论样态在北美逐渐回归并获得认可。全球的文化观念、北美的中国形象、译者的文化身份、社会身份和译介目的等因素综合作用于中国文论范畴的北美译介流变,其未来发展愈发趋向中国文论特性的体现,这为当前的中国文论输出创造良好的目的语环境。对中国译界而言,培养译者的多元文化观已经成为中国文论输出的理性诉求,唯此才能推动世界文论的平等交流和繁荣共生。Categories are the concepts that reflect the most universal and fundamental quality of things. The categories in literary theories are not only the condensation of literary thought, but also the key to the communication between Chinese and Western literary theories. Therefore, the translation and introduction of categories in literary theories has become the core issue of literary theory translation and introduction. Since 1970 s, the category-translation of Chinese literary theories in North America has experienced the changes from Paraphrase to Wade-Giles Romanization and Pinyin, and has realized the strategic transformation from Common-ground-seeking to Universality-seeking and Difference-reserving. This reflects the course of gradual return and recognition of Chinese literary theories as a unique theoretical form in North America. The elements such as global cultural values, Chinese images in North America, the cultural and social identities of translators and their purposes of translation have comprehensively acted on the category-translation evolvement of Chinese literary theories in North America, with the future tendency of increasingly reflecting the characteristics of Chinese literary theories, which creates a favorable target language environment for the ongoing output strategy of Chinese literary theories. To the field of translation studies in China, the cultivation of translators’ multicultural perspective has become a rational appeal of the output strategy of Chinese literary theories. Only in this way can we promote the equal exchanges and flourishing symbiosis of world literary theories.
