摘  要:本文通过梳理改革开放40多年来学界对英语教育的反思意见和建议,对新文科背景下的英语专业建设提出五点建议,即在专业建设理念上把握我国英语专业的"中国特色",在培养目标上突出"复合型"人才培养,在培养模式上强调"多元化"和"特色发展",在人才培养方案中既体现"知识"又体现"能力"和"素质"要求,在师资队伍建设上强调对培养目标的支撑度。The present paper reviews the reforms in English Language Education in China in the past forty years since the end of the 1970s and the criticisms centered on the educational endeavour.Suggestions are offered in terms of the tradition,the dual nature,and the diversity of the program,as well as the competencies and character qualities required of graduates and teacher education,with reference to what is supposed for in the era of New Social Science Education.
