庞德《诗章》中的文化观

摘　　要：《诗章》是庞德的代表作,也是西方现代主义诗歌艺术中的奇葩。一直以来,《诗章》被视作一个文学文本,但是从互文性的角度看,《诗章》也是一个文化文本。庞德在《诗章》中的文化观体现在他对"圣灵或至道:诚""日日新""杏花/从东方吹到西方"等的阐释当中。至于在文化传播过程中应该秉持怎样的态度,庞德认为,要守"中",即要做到不偏不倚;要讲"道",即不能违背事物发展的规律;要施"仁",即充满仁爱之心和同情之心。由于庞德在《诗章》中的思想较为复杂,对其文化观的解读也需要有批判的意识和理性的态度。The Cantos is Ezra Pound’s masterpiece as well as a unique being in the western modernist poetic art.Frequently,The Cantos is taken as a literary text.However,viewed from the intertextual perspective,The Cantos is also a cultural text.Ezra Pound’s culture notions in The Cantos are demonstrated in his interpretations of“paraclete or the verbum perfectum:sinceritas”,“Day by day make it new”,“The blossoms of the apricot/blow from the east to the west”,etc.As for the attitudes practiced into the course of the cultural transmission,Ezra Pound holds that it is significant to have Chung,i.e.,doing things without biased ideas;to claim Tao,i.e.,doing things without violating the law of nature;to fulfill jen,i.e.,doing things with kindness and sympathy.Since Ezra Pound’s thoughts are essentially complicated in The Cantos,it is essential to maintain critical awareness and reasonable attitudes when decoding his culture notions.
