摘 要:英语成为中国学校教育普及的第二语言已有数十年的时间。然而,对于英语学习的起始年龄问题,在业内仍然争论不休,难以定论。关键期理论认为,学习外语并非越早越好,而是受到其自身生理因素、心理因素、认知水平以及外部学习条件等因素的影响和制约。English has been taught as the second language in China for decades.However,this issue on the starting age of English learning is still debated and unsolved in English field.Based on critical period hypothesis,learning foreign languages is not as early as possible,but is influenced and restricted by its own physical and psychological factors,cognitive levels,and external learning conditions.
