摘  要:目的研究位于嗅觉鼻甲腹侧区的一种新的气味编码模式。方法通过钙成像来显示嗅觉鼻甲腹侧区域上的单个嗅感觉神经元对不同气味的反应,并分析这些产生响应的细胞。结果细胞外钙离子浓度对响应的发生至关重要,不同气味诱发的钙响应与气味呈剂量依赖性。结论直链长度,环状结构和立体构型是影响鼻甲腹侧区域识别气味的三个重要因素。嗅觉鼻甲腹侧区域存在一种新的气味编码模式。Objective Odor coding is organized by chemotropic dimensions,including all the features of chemical structures.Methods In our study,we used calcium imaging to indicate that single olfactory sensory neurons(OSNs)on intact olfactory turbinates were responsive to different odors in ventral zone of olfactory epithelium.Results Calcium response evoked by odors showed dose dependent relationships to different odors.We then characterized these cells,and found extracellular calcium ion was vital to odor response.Conclusion Three important factors played significant role in odor perception in the ventral area.They are length of straight carbon chain,ring structure,and stereo configuration.Collectively,our data demonstrates a new odor coding pattern on ventral olfactory turbinate.
