摘　　要：1概述校园的英文"campus"源于拉丁语的"campo",意为一个连绵不断的绿色场地,直译为由学校使用的地面,最早专指学院或大学校园,来自18世纪后期描述普林斯顿大学校园环境的文字记载。狭义的校园,指介于建筑物之间的、一系列相互联系的外部空间;而广义的校园则既包括学校所有的物质环境(校舍、场地、植被、附属设施等),也包括其所特有的非物质环境(校园文脉、空间氛围、场所精神等)[1]。1.Overview The English word“campus”is derived from the Latin word,meaning a continuously extensive green field.A literary translation of campus is the ground used by the school.It originally referred specifically to a college or university campus,which can be dated back to a text in the late eighteenth-century describing the environment of the Princeton University campus.A campus,in a narrow sense,is a series of interconnected external spaces that lie between buildings,while in a broader sense,it includes both the physical environment(school buildings,grounds,vegetation,and ancillary facilities,etc.)and the non-physical environment(context,atmosphere and genius loci,etc.)[1].
