非英语专业大学生思辨能力调查及其教学启示  

A Survey on the Critical Thinking Ability of Non-English Majors and Its Teaching Implications

摘　　要：运用问卷调查和访谈手段采集非英语专业大学生思辨能力的数据并对数据进行定量和定性分析。研究结果表明:非英语专业大学生的批判性思维处于矛盾范围的居多;在批判性思维7个维度中,认知成熟度和开放思想呈现正面倾向,寻找真理、系统化能力、分析能力、求知欲、批判性思维的自信心呈现负面倾向。非英语专业男女大学生的分析能力和认知成熟度呈现显著性差异,寻找真理、开放思想、系统化能力、求知欲、批判性思维的自信心5个维度没有呈现显著性差异。Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect the critical ability data of non-English majors and quantitative and qualitative analysis was made on the data.The results show that the critical thinking of non-English majors is mostly in the range of contradiction.In the 7 dimensions of critical thinking,cognitive maturity and open mind show positive tendency,while truth seeking,systematization,analysis,thirst for knowledge and critical thinking confidence show negative tendency.There were significant differences in the analysis ability and cognitive maturity of male and female non-English majors,but no significant differences in the five dimensions of truth seeking,open mind,systematic ability,thirst for knowledge and confidence in critical thinking.
