摘　　要：本研究所说的"文化观念",是限定在文学典籍视域中的文化观念,特指文学典籍中所体现的、具有针对现代文明的批判内涵的、支配一个民族总体生活方式的思想观念。当然,这样的文化观念不是一蹴而就的,有其复杂的演化过程。在这一过程中,文化观念与文学典籍有着不解之缘,互动微妙。因为文学典籍能对文化状况进行细腻、丰满的把握,所以将文化观念的流变与文学典籍相互参照进行研究,更能揭示文化观念演进和文学发展的血肉联系机制。通过对文化观念流变中的英国文学典籍进行研究,我们看到了文化史和文学史的新内涵。The“ideas of culture”in this study refer to such ideas as perceived in literary classics,especially the ideas which have been reflected by literary classics,characterized by critiques of modern civilization and by the aim to guide the overall way of life of a nation.Of course,such cultural ideas do not emerge all of a sudden and they have to undergo a complex evolution.In this evolution,the ideas of culture have organic and subtle interactions with literary classics.Since literary classics tend to shed light on minute and rich connotations of culture,a better understanding of the interactions between the evolution of ideas of culture and literary classics can be ensured with a cross-examination of both.A study of British literary classics in the perspective of the evolution of the ideas of culture reveals the new mechanisms of cultural history and literary history.
