摘　　要：国内学术界长期忽视林语堂"对中国人讲外国文化"的重要贡献。林语堂在各类报刊杂志上发表的大量单篇汉译文章是其汉译活动研究重要组成部分。本文结合林语堂在三个不同时期的社会、政治、历史背景和文化环境,对其在1914至1928年期间从事汉译活动时在不同期刊中所发表的单篇汉译文章逐一进行概述,厘清林语堂相关的汉译活动史料,并分析其进行这些汉译活动的动机与影响。Lin Yutang’s important contribution to "introducing foreign culture to Chinese people" has long been neglected in domestic academic circles. Lin Yutang published a large number of single Chinese translation articles in various newspapers and magazines, which are an important part of the research on his Chinese translation activities. This paper,referring to the social, political, historical background and cultural environment in three different periods, aims to summarize his Chinese translation activities of publishing single Chinese translation articles in journals from 1914 to 1928, clarify the historical materials related to his Chinese translation activities, and analyze the motivation and impact of his Chinese translations.
