同宗配合的马铃薯晚疫病菌曾在中国被发现

摘　　要：在 1964年分离的 84株菌中 ,有一株从甘肃岷县隆安洋芋马铃薯病薯上分离到的晚疫病菌 ,不经交配即能在纯培养上长出具有典型的围生雄器和藏卵器的卵孢子。经单孢子囊或单游动孢子分离都证明这一特性能保持下来 ,说明该菌是同宗配合交配型。致病性试验也证明是标准的晚疫病菌。由此可见 ,马铃薯晚疫病菌除异宗配合外还存在同宗配合形成卵孢子的这一条途径 。Out of 84 strains isolated in 1964, a strain of Phytophthora infestans forming oospores with typical amphigynous antheridium and oogonium on culture medium without pairing with opposite mating type was isolated from diseased potato tuber of cultivar “Long An Yang Yu” collected from Min Xian, Gansu Province. Its homothallic character was maintained in single sporangium or single zoospore isolates. Pathogenic experiments proved that this strain is a typical P.infestans. This suggests that proper attention should be paid to the existence of the homothallic strain of P.infestans though it is not so widespread as the already known heterothallic strains.
