摘　　要：随着我国东部沿海地区产业向中西部地区转移,中西部地区面临重大历史机遇。培养适应西部地区经济社会发展的相关人才,是实现产业目标的重要保障。以兰州理工大学材料科学与工程学院人才培养长期实践为基础,探索和总结材料类工程应用型人才培养和发展的措施,以期为普通工科高校材料类人才培养提供参考。As the industry in the eastern coastal areas of my country shifts to the central and western regions,the central and western regions face major historical opportunities.Cultivating relevant personnel suitable for the economic and social development of the western region is an important guarantee for achieving industrial goals.Based on the long-term practice of talent cultivation in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Lanzhou University of Technology,we explore and summarize the measures for the cultivation and development of applied talents in materials engineering,with a view to providing a reference for the cultivation of materials talents in general engineering universities.
