摘 要:当代美国著名文化批评先驱莱斯利·费德勒的文化批评主要围绕"种族"与"性别"两词展开。其文化批评表现出的种族观念与性别意识主要体现在三方面:他关注美国文学作品中的"外人"--有色人种、少数族裔与女性等边缘群体;他主张"越界",发掘了美国文学作品中跨种族的男性情谊;他坚持人本主义,发展并运用神话批评,注重作品中人物表现的欲望、本能、潜意识等感性存在形式,并结合社会、历史的分析。他的种族观念与性别意识表达了他冀图种族间与同性间跨越界线、实现融合、成为"新变体"的后人文主义社会构想,以实现对人的价值关怀。The work of the famous contemporary American cultural critic, Leslie Fiedler, centers around two key terms: "race" and "gender". Fiedler’s views of race and gender in his cultural criticism involve three key aspects. Firstly, he focuses on the "outsiders" in American literary works;in other words, he studies borderline figures such as people of color, minorities and women. Secondly, he champions "crossing the border", and explores and analyzes interracial homoerotic love in American literature. Finally, he adheres to humanism by applying social and historical research in combination with an examination of myth to analyze the characters’ desires, instincts, subconscious thoughts and other forms of perceptual existence. Fiedler’s views of race and gender express his post-human social vision that people should cross the border, close the gap and fuse into "new mutants" in order to realize the humanistic values.
