摘　　要：田自秉先生所著《中国工艺美术史》,作为中国工艺美术通史的开山之作,填补了这一领域通史著作的空白,时至今日,鲜有能与之比肩者,该书采用的体例、范式、研究方法等被沿用至今。该书问世至今已近40年,重印的版本亦有修订。然而,从历史发展的观点看,该书虽然解决了中国工艺美术通史从无到有的问题,但也在一些定义和结论,有待商榷。As a pioneering work of the general history of Chinese arts and crafts,The History of Chinese Arts and Crafts written by Tian Zibing fills in the blank of the general history works in this field.Up to now,there are few works could bear comparison with it,in addition,the style,paradigm and research method adopted in this book are still in use today.It has been nearly 40 years since the book was published,and the reprinted version has also been revised.However,from the perspective of historical development,despite the fact that it has solved the problem of the general history of Chinese arts.
