摘　　要：本文基于区域国别研究的目标、内涵与特点,结合相关文献、调查和访谈结果探讨区域国别研究视角下的语言能力。文章提出以下观点:(1)区域国别研究和语言关系密切,"专业+语言"是该领域研究者的理想能力模型;(2)语言贯穿区域国别研究能力体系,但在不同层面和不同类型的研究中,语言功能、语言能力的权重和侧重有所差别;(3)区域国别研究所需的语言能力包括多语能力和交际能力,前者基于具体研究的语言能力需求建构语种和功能结构,后者是指由语言学能力、社会语言学能力、话语能力、策略能力组成的语言应用能力。Based on the objectives,contents and characteristics of area studies,and referring to the related literature and results of surveys and interviews,this paper probes into the language capability from the perspective of area studies.It presents the following viewpoints:(1)area studies are closely related to language,and"specialty+language"is the ideal capability model for researchers in this field;(2)language runs through the capability system of area studies,but the weight and emphasis of language function and language capability vary in different types of studies at different levels;(3)language capability for area studies includes multilingual capability and communicative competence,the former is the structure and function of languages based on the needs of specific studies,and the latter is language application capability composed of linguistic competence,sociolinguistic competence,discourse competence and strategic competence.
