摘　　要：语言能力量表在外语教育领域的应用十分广泛,但是由于量表应用及其后效研究的理论框架和实践方法缺乏,量表后效研究迄今尚未系统化开展。本文以中国英语能力等级量表(CSE)的口语量表为例,探索语言能力量表后效研究的路径。文章回顾了语言能力量表在世界范围内的应用研究,阐明了CSE口语量表的预期作用,分析了推广应用口语量表面临的挑战,进而构建了语言能力量表后效研究的指导性框架,阐述了口语量表后效研究的具体路径。Language proficiency scales have been widely used in foreign language education.However,due largely to the lack of theoretical frameworks and practical approaches,so far little systematic research has been undertaken on the application and impact of language proficiency scales.Using the Speaking Scale of China’s Standards of English Language Ability(CSE-SS)as an example,this paper explores how impact studies of language proficiency scales can be conducted.The paper reviews research on the worldwide application of language proficiency scales,introduces the intended purposes of the CSE-SS,and discusses the major challenges of its application.It further proposes a framework for research on the impact of language proficiency scales,and sets out a research agenda for the CSE-SS impact studies.
