章太炎与井上哲次郎的交往及思想地图  

The Interpersonal Communication and Ideological Map between Zhang Taiyan and Inoue Tetsujirō

摘　　要：章太炎与日本哲学家井上哲次郎,从受到英语世界传入的生物和社会进化学说影响,到融合佛教和德国哲学来解决深层次的形而上学问题,思想轨迹高度相似。在章太炎"转俗成真"的思想转变过程中,他深入阅读、援引过姉崎正治、井上圆了、森内政昌等井上哲次郎学生的作品。日本汉学家馆森鸿《似而非笔》透露的关键事实和蛛丝马迹,结合其他中国学者对井上哲次郎的记述,可以确证1899年章太炎在东京与井上哲次郎的交往,以及双方多次交谈的大致内容。由此出发,章太炎与明治思想界、乃至与19世纪末欧亚思想之间的内在联动机制得以打通。章太炎通过井上哲次郎来框定其周边的重要阅读对象,采择支撑或组建自身思想的元素。面对进化学说所揭示的人类命运的巨大不确定性,章太炎的认识论和伦理观与井上哲次郎却大相径庭。From the time first influenced by biological and social evolutionary theories to later integrating Buddhism and German philosophy to solve deep metaphysical problems,Zhang Taiyan and Japanese philosopher Inoue Tetsujirō had very similar ideological development routes. In the course of his interest turning to Buddhism,Zhang Taiyan had ever read books written by Anesaki Masaharu,Inoue Enryō,Moriuchi Masayoshi,who were all Inoue Tetsujirōs students. Through key facts and clues showed in essays Si Er Fei Bi written by Japanese scholar Tatemori Kō,and considering accounts from other Chinese scholars,it can be confirmed that Zhang Taiyan communicated with Inoue Tetsujirō face to face and the contents of their communication could be identified,all of which are supposed to uncover the inner mechanism between Zhang Taiyan and Meiji ideological circle as well as that between Zhang and Euro-Asia thoughts in the late nineteenth century. As a matter of fact,Zhang attempted to support or establish his own ideological framework by reading works written by important intellectuals around Inoue Tetsujirō. However,when it comes to great uncertainties of human destiny revealed by evolutionary theories,Zhangs thoughts are different from those of Tetsujirō on both epistemology and ethics.
