狄更斯《匹克威克外传》中双关语的修辞效果研究

摘　　要：英美文学中双关语的使用可以营造出一种幽默诙谐或者嘲弄讥讽的氛围,达到凸显书中人物性格特征的修辞效果。《匹克威克外传》是狄更斯第一部成功的长篇小说,更是狄更斯幽默风格的集中体现,他在幽默荒诞中批判了当时英国社会的种种现象。《匹克威克外传》幽默的行文风格得益于作者大量运用双关语,使文章读起来妙趣横生,但又引人深思。The use of puns in British and American literature can create a humorous or ironic rhetorical effect,and at the same time highlight the characters in the book.The Pickwick Papers is the first successful novel by Dickens and concentrated expression of Dickens’humorous style.The author criticizes the various aspects of British society in the absurd humor.The humorous writing style of The Pickwick Papers benefits from the author’s extensive use of puns,which makes the article interesting,and also makes people think deeply.
