摘　　要：说起蓬莱阁,人们可以想起许多历史名人:秦始皇为首的帝王们,比如传说中的八仙。帝王贵不可言,平日里锦衣玉食,想要什么就能得到什么,自然想再活五百年。可自然规律常常是人生不满百,再加上他们往往听信方士的话,寻求灵丹妙药以求长生不老,岂不知那仙丹的功效之一就是催其早死,让他们在弥留之际留下无尽的遗憾。Speaking of Penglai Pavilion,people would remember many historical celebrities:the emperors represented by Emperor Qin Shihuang and the legendary Eight Immortals.The emperors had highest ranks and lived an extravagani life,able to get everything they desired for.They naturally wanted to live for another five centuries.However,it is a natural law that one can seldom live for more than a century.Besides,they often believed what the alchemists said and searched for elixir in pursuit of longevity without knowing one of its effects was early death,which made them leaving lhe world with cndless regrets.
