摘　　要：巨菌草是一种适应性强、产量高、品质优、多年生的禾本科狼尾属植物。由于其产量高、抗逆性强、营养丰富、适口性好,在畜禽养殖中已获得广泛应用。文章综述了巨菌草作为牧草的优势及其在畜禽养殖中的应用最新研究进展,旨在为巨菌草未来在畜禽养殖中更深入的应用研究提供参考。Pennisetum giganteum is a kind of adaptable,high yield,high quality,perennial plant of the genus wolfoidea.Due to its high yield,strong resistance to stress,rich nutrition and good palatability,Pennisetum giganteum has been widely used in animal husbandry.In order to provide reference for the further application of Pennisetum giganteum in livestock breeding in the future,the paper summarized the advantages of Pennisetum giganteum as forage grass and the latest research progress of its application in livestock breeding.
