摘　　要：宋平是中华人民共和国许多重大经济建设决策和事件的参与者和见证人,对中华人民共和国史研究有着特殊的感情。自当代中国研究所1990年成立以来,宋平就对当代中国研究所给予了极大的关心和重要的支持,曾多次听取邓力群和历届所领导的汇报,从办所方针、科研项目、干部调配到后勤管理等方面提出了许多宝贵的意见,并代表中央给予了支持,曾两次亲临当代中国研究所视察工作、两次来当代中国研究所参加重要学术和纪念活动;从立意、内容、编写、体例和送审等各个方面关心《中华人民共和国史稿》的编纂工作,多次和编纂负责同志谈话,提出了精辟的意见;对国史特别是新中国经济建设史的具体问题,也有着许多高屋建瓴的理论认识和真知灼见。Song Ping is a participant and witness to many important economic construction decisions and events in the People's Republic of China and has a special feeling for the history of the People's Republic of China.Since the establishment of the Institute of Contemporary China Studies in 1990,Song Ping has given great cares and important supports to the Institute,kept an open mind on the reports from Deng Liqun and the previous leaders and provided a lot of valuable advice for the Institute's policy,scientific research projects,the deployment of cadres to logistics management and other aspects.On behalf of the Central supports,he has visited the Institute of Contemporary China Studies twice and participated in the important academic and commemorative activities twice held by the Institute of Contemporary China Studies.He paid close attention to the compilation of The Draft of the History of the People's Republic of China from the aspects of conception,content,compilation,writing style and submitting for approval,had many talks with the comrades in charge of the compilation,put forward his incisive suggestions and had a lot of high-altitude theoretical knowledge and insightful views on the specific problems of the history of the People's Republic of China,especially the history of the New China's economic construction.
