摘　　要：自改革开放以来,随着我国经济社会的快速发展,对体育事业的建设与发展越来越重视,并于2008年成功举办北京夏季奥运会,我国运动健儿所取得的成绩令世界各国瞩目。而在2022年我国在首都北京即将举办冬季奥运会,届时北京将成为唯一一个同时承办过夏季奥运会和冬季奥运会的城市,可以说非常令国人自傲和兴奋。当前,体育赛事可以说是不同国家、不同民族、不同文化沟通交流的重要组成部分,在促进经济社会发展过程中发挥着重要的作用。对此,在新时代发展下,以冬奥会为契机来强化体育院校英语跨文化教学意义重大。Since the reform and development,with the rapid development of China’s economy and society,more and more attention has been paid to the construction and development of sports.In 2008,Beijing Summer Olympic Games was successfully held.The achievements of our athletes have attracted the attention of all countries in the world.In 2022,China will hold the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing,the capital of China.At that time,Beijing will become the only city that has hosted both the summer Olympic Games and the Winter Olympic Games,which can be said to be very proud and exciting.At present,sports events can be said to be an important part of communication between different nations and cultures,and play an important role in promoting economic and social development.Therefore,with the development of the new era,it is of great significance to take the Winter Olympic Games as an opportunity to strengthen cross-cultural English Teaching in physical education institutions.
