摘 要:相比古诗英译,许渊冲在宋词英译方面的成果相对较少,而学界对其宋词英译的研究亦相对有限。基于现有研究成果,本文从美学、翻译过程内部要素、翻译理论、语言学和其他视角等角度对许渊冲的宋词英译研究进行回顾。研究发现,现有研究存在以下不足:以"三美论"指导的成果较多,研究对象较为狭窄,存在翻译理论套用之嫌,跨学科的研究不多。本文提出,今后学者可从文化翻译、实证研究、跨学科、译者改译等方面对许渊冲的宋词英译进行深入研究。Compared with the translation of classical Chinese poetry,Xu Yuanchong has gained less achievement in the translation of Song Lyrics,which makes its researches comparatively limited.This paper,based on the current studies,aims to make an overview of research on Xu Yuanchong’s English translation of Song Lyrics from the perspectives of aesthetics,the internal factors of translating process,translation theory,linguistics,and other aspects,and the following deficiencies are found.For example,many researches are guided by Xu Yuanchong’s"Three Beauties Theory",the scope of the research subjects is somewhat narrow,there exists the phenomenon of blind application of translation theories,and the interdisciplinary researches are quite few.In the light of this,it is advisable that scholars deepen their studies in Xu Yuanchong’s translation of Song Lyrics from the aspects of cultural translation,empirical research,interdisciplinary and cross-art research,and the translator’s revision.
