摘　　要：廖世承十分重视学校职业指导工作,在实践中不断探索和完善职业指导理论。通过理论与实践相结合对职业指导的目的进行了阐释,在此基础上提出了职业指导的具体方法,并首先将智力测验应用于职业指导领域。他的中等学校职业指导思想影响深远,对当前我国学校职业指导工作有重要的借鉴意义。Liao Shicheng attaches great importance to vocational guidance in schools.He actively advocates vocational guidance,and constantly explores and improves the vocational guidance theory in practice.Combined with practice,the purpose of career guidance was explained.Based on the explanation of career guidance,specific methods of career guidance were proposed,and the intelligence test was applied to the field of career guidance.His secondary school career guidance ideology has far-reaching influence,and it still has important reference significance for the current school career guidance work in China.
