Under the background of China’s vigorous promotion of"Internet+",more and more underwater tunnels have built a structural health monitoring system based on sensing technology, which realizes the damage identification and quantitative analysis of tunnel structure safety during operation. It has brought convenience to tunnel maintenance management and has gradually become an important decision-making basis for managers to rely on.However, some underwater tunnel structural health monitoring systems appear to be incapable of reading data and invalidating the decision-making mechanism during use, which brings inconvenience to managers. The research takes a tunnel in Nanjing and a tunnel health monitoring system in Yangzhou as the research object, and analyzes the operation status of the tunnel structure health monitoring system by means of historical data review,on-site inspection and instrument testing, and discusses the precautions and trends in the implementation of underwater tunnel structural health monitoring systems.
