石炭纪杜内阶-维宪阶界线定义介绍

摘　　要：简要介绍了杜内阶 -维宪阶界线定义的历史和现状 ,包括舍费尔德会议原始定义 ,牙形石 Guathodus texa-nus带底界定义 ,有孔虫 Eoparastaffella形态演化定义。2 0 0 1年 9月在美国圣路易斯举行的国际石炭纪地层委员会现场会议期间 ,非正式通过了石炭纪杜内阶 -维宪阶界线新定义 ,即“有孔虫 Eoparastaffella ovalis类群— E. sim-plex谱系中 Eoparastaffella simplex的首次出现”The biostratigraphical criterion on which the Tournaisian Visean boundary is to be defined in the first appearance in the foraminifer Eoparastaffella simplex in the lineage Eoparastaffella ovalis group E. simplex was informally approved by the SCCS Working Group at the September 2001 SCCS meeting in St. Louis, USA. A ballot is being distributed to all voting members for the final decision. The present paper introduces the history and current status of the definition of the Tournaisian Vesean boundary, covering the 1967 Sheffield Congress Proposal, the base of Gnathodus texanus Zone, the proposal of the “Working Group to establish a boundary close to the existing Tournaisian Vesean boundary”, the use of Eopa rastaffella morphotype 2 in the lineage E . morphotype 1 to morphotype 2, and the new decision at St. Louis.
