This paper focuses on China 6 light duty vehicles with the same emission control technology as the research object and selects three vehicles with different engine displacements, and studies the emission and fuel consumption characteristics of China 6 light duty vehicles under three test cycles of NEDC,WLTC and CLTC. The results show that, under WLTC cycle,CO,THC and NO_x emissions are the minimum compared with the NEDC and CLTC cycles. With the decrease of the engine displacement, the differences of CO and THC emissions increase with different cycles, which shows small displacement engine vehicles are greatly influenced by driving cycles. Compared with other testing conditions, the WLTC cycle emits more PN,however there is not much difference between the three testing cycles. The fuel consumption under the WLTC cycle is the smallest, and the fuel consumption difference among the three testing cycles decreases with the reduction of engine displacement, indicating that the fuel consumption of vehicles with large displacement engines is greatly affected by the cycle conditions.
