勤勉治学抒壮志 严谨求实著华章——记沈阳农业大学植物线虫学科奠基人刘维志教授

摘　　要：刘维志(1938~),辽宁昌图人,沈阳农业大学教授,博士研究生导师,享受国务院特殊政府津贴。1958~1962年沈阳农学院植物保护专业本科生,1962~1965年沈阳农学院吴友三教授门下攻读植物病理学专业硕士研究生,毕业后留校任教,历任助教、讲师、副教授和教授;1987~1988年美国加利福尼亚大学河边分校线虫系访问学者;1988~1990年美国北卡罗来纳州立大学植病系博士后。1995年5月应邀访问韩国,先后在韩国庆北大学、庆尚大学和顺天大学访问讲学,并在韩国应用昆虫学会年会上做特邀专题报告。1995年9~12月,应美国农业部邀请,在美国农业部农业研究中心、弗吉尼亚州立大学、阿肯色大学及北卡罗来纳州立大学合作研究;1997年8月赴俄罗斯莫斯科参加国际线虫学会议,宣读论文,并担任大会执行主席之一。2002年6月在西班牙召开的第四届国际线虫学大会上担任生物防治专题主席。刘维志教授是中国著名植物病理学家吴友三教授的得意门生,一直传承和弘扬老一辈科学家的奋斗精神,勤奋刻苦,踏实肯干,成果斐然,著述颇丰,在沈阳农业大学植物保护学科不同发展时期作出了突出的贡献,是同时代全国植物病理学领域的知名科学家之一,被中国植物线虫学专业委员会授予"线虫学终身成就奖"。总结刘维志教授的科学研究和学术思想,对于启迪后人,弘扬科学家精神,在新时代植物病理学领域创新研究思路,拓宽专业研究领域,发现线虫学学科新的生长点具有重要的科学价值和现实意义。Liu Wei-zhi was born in Changtu county,Liaoning Province in 1938,served as a professor and doctoral tutor in Shenyang Agricultural University and awarded as the recipient of the special allowance of the State Council of People’Republic of China.He studied at Shenyang Agricultural College as an undergraduate of plant protection between 1958 and 1962,as a postgraduate of phytopathology under Professor Wu You-san of Shenyang Agricultural College between 1962 and 1965.After graduation,he served as as teaching assistant,lecturers,associate professors and professor at Shenyang Agricultural College.From 1987 to 1988 Professor Liu served as a visiting scholar in the Department of Nematodes of Riverside Branch of California University.From 1988 to 1990 Liu worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Botany at North Carolina State University.In May,1995 Liu was invited to visit South Korea,in which he visited and lectured at Gyeongbuk University,Gyeongsang National University and Suncheon University in South Korea and gave a special presentation at the annual meeting of the Korean Society of Applied Entomology.From September to December,1995,Mr.Liu was invited by Agricultural Department of the United States of America to conduct collaborative research in Agricultural Research Center of Agricultural Department of USA,Virginia State University,University of Arkansas and North Carolina State University.In August,1997,he went to Moscow,Russia,for an international conference on nematodiasis,and served as one of the executive presidents of the conference.In June,2002,Liu served as the chair of the biological control theme at the 4 th International Congress of Nematology in Spain.As a proud protégéof Professor Wu You-san,a famous pathologist of plant in China,Mr.Liu has inherited and carried forward the struggle spirit of the older generation of scientists,He worked hard and published a large number of scientific papers,which has made outstanding contributions to the Shenyang Agricultural University at various st
