This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of superfine grinding herb(SGH) on growth performance and microorganism of piglets. The experiment included the control diet(basal diet),100 mg/kg SGH,200 mg/kg SGH and 400 mg/kg SGH were fed respectively. The effects of SGH comprehensively expounded from growth performance, diarrhea rate, immune index and feces. The results showed that superfine grinding herb supplement(with 100,200,400 mg/kg) increased the weight gain of piglets by 13.3%(P<0.05),10% and 10%,substantially decreased diarrhea rate of piglets by 39.4%,41.5% and 49.9%(P<0.05),increased the level of plasma IgG and IgM(P<0.05),the fecal Lactobacillus count in the fourth week of 200,400 mg/kg groups was increased and the E. coli was decreased(P<0.05). The results indicated that supplement of superfine grinding herb could improve the growth performance and healthy of piglets via immunoglobulin and microorganism improving.
