Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)in the treatment of acute biliary pancreatitis(ABP).Methods 110 patients with ABP admitted in the hospital from November 2017 to November 2019 were convenient selected as observation objects, and were divided into a control group(n=55,conservative medical treatment)and an observation group(n=55,based on the control group added ERCP treatment.Observe the changes of C-reactive protein(CRP)and calcitonin(PCT)before and after treatment in the two groups, and compare the incidence of complications between the two groups. Results The CRP and PCT levels of the two groups of patients before treatment were not significantly different(P>0.05),and the indexes of the two groups of patients improved after treatment, but the CRP and PCT levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of complications was 3.64%,which was significantly lower than 14.55%of the control group(χ^2=3.960,P<0.05).Conclusion ERCP treatment can effectively reduce the inflammatory response of ABP patients, reduce the incidence of complications, and help promote the early recovery of the disease.
