摘 要:在中国西藏自治区中部的拉萨地体的中-北部,广泛沉积了至少5套白垩纪碎屑岩,这些碎屑岩如实地记录了班怒洋的消亡、拉萨-羌塘陆陆碰撞、青藏高原早期隆升等一系列重要地质事件的信息。鉴于青藏地区基础地质研究不够多,至今可以公开查阅的基础岩石学数据十分缺乏,重复的岩石学工作在不断的进行。为了更好地共享这些基础地质数据,本数据集使用偏光显微镜,对采集自多尼组、多巴组、竟柱山组、达雄组、Kcv单元5套白垩纪碎屑岩地层共计402个岩石薄片进行了图像采集。这些沉积剖面中的岩石样品包括23块粉砂岩、235块砂岩、15块砾岩、98块砾石、2块混积岩、6块钙质结核、14块火山碎屑岩、6块火成岩和3块接触变质岩。同时,本数据集还详细记录了涉及的22条地层剖面信息,样品的采集位置、地层时代、岩石名称、岩石特征等信息。本数据集不仅可广泛用于基础地质学研究,也可应用于与人工智能等的合作研究中,还可以为矿产与油气勘探、教学与科普等社会生产实践提供基础资料服务。At least 5 units of Cretaceous clastic rocks have been found to widely outcrop on the centralnorthern Lhasa Terrane,Tibet.These sedimentary rocks faithfully encoded information on a series of major geological events such as the demise of Bangong–Nujiang Ocean,the Lhasa-Qiangtang collision,and the early uplift of the Tibetan Plateau.As the Tibetan Plateau has been understudied in geological research,basic petrological data of the Plateau are scarce and not always publicly accesible,which has led to repetitive petrological work.To better share the geological data,we collected polarized light microscopes of 402 pieces of Cretaceous rocks from the five widely outcropping units,namely,Duoni Formation,Duba Formation,Jingzhushan Formation,Daxiong Formation,and Kcv Unit.The rock samples include 23 siltstone,235 sandstone,15 conglomerate,98 gravel,2 mixed siliciclastic and carbonate rock,6 carbonate nodule,14 volcanic clastic rock,6 igneous rock,and 3 metamorphic rock from the 5 Cretaceous siliciclastic units.This dataset is supplemented by detailed information on the 22 stratigraphic sections,including sampling location,stratigraphic age,and rock characteristics.This dataset can be used in both basic geological research and interdisciplinary research,such as those associated with computer sciences.It also provides references for mineral,oil and gas prospecting,teaching or general popularization of sciences.
