主谓宾结构英汉机器翻译句法错误分析

摘　　要：选取权威新闻网站的50篇英语新闻为研究语料,对主谓宾结构的机器译文和人工译文进行平行对比,归纳总结主谓宾结构英译汉机器翻译存在的规律性句法错误。研究结果显示,词序错译的发生率最高,其他错误类型的发生率从高到低依次为谓语动词短语错译、介词短语错译、名词短语错译、从句错译、分词短语错译、动词不定式短语错译。今后的机器翻译系统需进一步加强词典的结构建设,为语言处理程序提供源语言基本单位所具有的词法、句法、语法、语义、语用等方面信息,补充和完善复杂多义区分的途径,提高系统中上下文相关处理的能力。On the basis of 50 news articles from authoritative news websites,a parallel comparison is made between machine translation output and manual translation of SVO(subject-verb-object)structure,and the regular syntactic errors in the English-Chinese machine translation of SVO structure are summarized.The results show that the frequency of word order mistranslation is the highest,and the frequency of the other types of errors from high to low are predicate verb phrase mistranslation,prepositional phrase mistranslation,noun phrase mistranslation,clause mistranslation,participle phrase mistranslation,and infinitive verb phrase mistranslation.This implies that,in the future,the machine translation system should be strengthened in dictionary structure to provide for language processing program the basic information about the source language in terms of morphology,syntax,grammar,semantics,pragmatics,and supplement and improve the ways to distinguish complex polysemy to improve the ability of context sensitive processing in the system.
