The COVID-19 pandemic has brought an unprecedented crisis to global education and accelerated the reform of global education. The OECD's latest survey report has conducted a detailed review of world education under the pandemic crisis, and summarized the characteristics of world education development under the impact of the pandemic by proposing“four tensions”and suggestions.Based on the analysis of the OECD report, this article points out that the world education development is facing the following trends:the maintenance of education during the pandemic will be a protracted struggle;the world education is facing profound changes in the rapid change of the situation under the pandemic; Moreover, with the re-differentiation and recombination of educational elements under pandemic and the extensively widespread application of educational information technology, the“fourth educational revolution”is likely to accelerate and become reality. The article then draws three enlightenments based on OECD report:Firstly, seize the opportunity, strengthen points of weakness, and push the education informatization to a new stage;the second is to promote case studies and make preparations for educational innovation;the third is to join hands with the world to strengthen international education cooperation against pandemic.
