僧肇假名说的逻辑与语言自觉

摘  要:从僧肇对名实问题的言说中探究其语言观特质。僧肇认为名实关系说明语言与其所指示对象间不存在对称关系,因此语言具有虚幻性。在僧肇看来语言在世俗谛中所表现出来的工具性的实质是"假名说",为避免假名所带来的迷见,语言就必须遵循"不落两边、不落语言"的言说逻辑,同时建立"名号不虚生,称谓不自起""语应无方"与"象外之谈"的言说自觉。This paper aims to explore the nature of Seng Zhao’s linguistic view from his theory on the problem of name and reality. The monk Seng Zhao thought that nominal-real relation showed that there was no symmetrical relation between language and the object it signified, so language was illusory. In his view, the essence of the instrumentality of language in secular truths is the false names, and to avoid confusion brought about by false names,language must abide by the speech logic of not landing on both sides and not landing in language, and at the same time, the speech consciousness of no empty names and titles should be developed.
