摘  要:法尊法师一生爱国爱教,两次赴藏学习藏密,多年管理汉藏教理院,翻译显密圣典,无论对社会还是对佛教,都有重大贡献,特别是其爱国爱教思想的形成与实践,堪称后世学习的楷模。法尊法师爱国爱教思想主要包括:坚持护国卫教的家国理念,实施学问与德行并重的僧才教育模式,具有译经与著述兼优的科研能力,以宗教团体互访推进国际文化交流,以汉藏佛教交流促进汉藏民族融合。法尊法师的爱国爱教思想与实践,有利于佛教继续沿着“中国化方向”的轨道发展,有利于新时代僧才教育模式的完善,有利于培养“撷取众长”的学者型僧才,有利于当代国际宗教文化建设,有利于中华民族的伟大复兴。Out of his life-long love of his country and religion, Master Fazun went to Tibet to study Tibetan Buddhism twice, managed the Institute of Tibetan Catechism for many years, and translated sacred scriptures. He made great contributions to both the society and Buddhism, and especially the formation and practice of his love of the country and religion can be regarded as a model for later generations. Master Fazun′s thoughts on patriotism and religion mainly include: adhering to the idea of safeguarding the country and protecting religion,attaching importance to the education mode of learning and virtue,acquiring excellent scientific research ability to translate scriptures and write,promoting international cultural exchanges with religious groups by way of mutual visits, and promoting the integration of the Chinese and Tibetan ethnic groups with the exchange of Chinese and Tibetan Buddhism. His thought and practice of love of the country and religion are conducive to the development of Buddhism along the track of "Chinese orientation", to the improvement of the educational mode of monk talents in the new era,to the cultivation of scholar-type monks who "get the best of all", to the construction of contemporary international religious culture,and to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
