《论语》中“者”字自指用法分析

摘　　要：朱德熙曾提出古汉语中“者”字的自指用法与转指用法,这一观点对学术界产生深远影响。自《马氏文通》后,学界对古汉语“者”字的词类归属争执不定,但鲜少有学者从自指与转指的角度入手进行论证。结合先秦重要文献《论语》,将表示自指功能的“者”字归属于语气助词,既符合上古汉语的实际使用情况,又有助于寻找自指与转指功能之间的联系,从而达到二者的统一。Zhu De-xi once came up with the idea about the self-designation usages and the transferred designation usages of“Zhe(者)”in ancient Chinese,which has profound influence in the academic circle.Since the publication of Ma’s Grammar of the Chinese Language,the acadamia has different opinions on the grammatical classification of“Zhe(者)”in ancient Chinese,but few of them traced it from the aspect of self-designation and transferred designation.Combining the important pre-Qin document The Analects,assigning the word“Zhe(者)”which expresses the self-referential function to the modal particle word not only accords with the actual use of ancient Chinese,but also helps to find the connection between self-referential and referential functions,so as to achieve their unity.
