摘  要:院校研究服务于高校的管理决策。根据组织智能理论,院校研究应从基础层的分析/技术智能向中高层的事务智能和情境智能递进发展。从高校组织变革的视角分析,面对复杂的内部组织特征和急剧变化的外部环境,高校的管理决策日趋复杂。对此,院校研究要充分利用组织智能,为院校决策提供咨询支持,推进院校研究从管理决策的边缘向中心发展。处在急剧变革之中的中国高校应通过开展咨询研究深度参与决策过程。Institutional Research(IR)serves the managerial decision-making of colleges and universities.According to the organizational intelligence theory,IR should develop gradually from analytical/technical intelligence at the basic level to issue intelligence and contextual intelligence at the middle and high levels.From the perspective of organizational change of higher education,facing its complex internal organizational characteristics and rapidly changing external environment,the managerial decision-making of colleges and universities is becoming more and more complex.Therefore,IR should make full use of its organizational intelligence,provide decision-making consulting support for university decision-making,and then develop from the edge of managerial decision-making to the center.In the process of rapid change,China’s colleges and universities urgently need the participation of IR officers in decision-making process through consulting research.
