摘  要:美国当代非裔女诗人丽塔·达夫的诗集《母爱》中的诗《冥河酒馆》,描写了一对母女在巴黎一家酒馆里会面的场景。诗歌是古希腊罗马德墨忒耳—珀耳塞福涅神话与现实生活的交织文本。通过空间换置,故事中的人物被置于异乡环境之中,在异质文化中探索个人的不断变动的社会空间;而二人面对面的近距离交谈却展现出情感的疏离过程,戏剧化的母女关系偏离了读者期待。诗人以新奇、高超的技巧,将形象压缩为能指,使其在滑向所指的运动过程中再一次分化出多种形象,从而在读者的认知与感受之间造成了距离,其富有张力的语言形式,拓宽了诗歌的阐释空间。Rita Dove,a contemporary female African-American poet,depicts a scene that a mother and her daughter meet at a bistro in Paris in"The Bistro Styx"in her Mother Love.This poem is a textual fabrication of the Greek myth of Demeter and Persephone interwoven with reality.Through spatial displacement,the characters in the poem are situated in a foreign environment,exploring the ever-changing social space in a heterogeneous culture.The estrangement of the mother and the daughter is unveiled as their face-to-face conversation progresses.The dramatized mother-daughter relationship deviates from the readers’expectation.The poet uses novel and superb techniques to condense the images into signifiers,which can multiply a variety of images when they slide towards the signified.The tension in the form of the poet’s language distances the readers’cognizance from their feelings,and broadens the interpretive space of the poem.
