摘　　要：20世纪80年代严力抵美后,其诗人、画家和小说家的多栖身份与移民身份的并置,使他的的写作带有了更多的跨文化意味。母语的写作,不仅成为严力精神还乡的表达,也是他亦中亦西、非中非西的"第三文化空间"立场的表述。这里既有他对中美两种文化的审视,又有他对异质文化之间互相沟通、和解的愿景之表现。严力的小说写作超越了一般海外华人作家的文化视野和精神高度,其作品现代性与后现代思想混合并置,表现了严力对人类精神境遇的深切关注。Yanli is a famous poet in China.The identities such as poet,painter and novelist,immigrant all these make the novels written by Yanli be more characteristic in cross-cultural ones since 1980 s.Writing in Chinese is not only the symbol to go home,but also the symbol of narration on The Third Cultural Space.He assesses the cultures both in the East and in the West.At the same time,he hopes that the communication of the East and the West will be realized in his novels.Yanli’s novels are more valuable than the other writers’ novels who live in the west world.Yanli’s novels are mixed by modernism and postmodernism.It shows that Yanli always focuses on the mental dilemma of human beings.
